We have many benefits to joining this valued lake community.

Year Round On-Site Park Caretakers

We have a year round live in Park Caretaker providing additional security and services. They maintain the grounds, beach, and shower houses, as well as providing many essential services. We have gas and propane available for purchase, as well as Sani dump available payable at the office.

Imagine spending hot summer days on your own private beach at beautiful Lac Sante! This spring fed lake has a sandy bottomed roped swimming area great for families of all ages, and is well maintained by our park manager and member volunteers.

Marina/Boat Launch

All members have access to a private boat launch and two marinas areas with dock access. The association leases boat slips on a yearly basis. Members are responsible for providing their own lift, and the installation and removal of the lift, which is organized as a group activity at the beginning and end of each season. Gated Access

Pelcian Bay is a gated community accessible by gate card access. Two registered gate cards are issued per lot, and maintained yearly. All members are required to meet guests for entrance and be responsible for them during their stay. All gates are video monitored for additional security. Please check the member only section for more details on park access and all rules and regulations.

Year Round Facilities

We have two fully serviced wheelchair accessible shower houses which are free to members and guests with gate card access. The main shower house is open year round and offers 8 shower stalls, and 6 bathroom stalls The South shower house is seasonal and operational from May - September offering 2 shower stalls, and 4 bathrooms stalls, and one family sized washroom.

Guest Rental Lots

We have 15 rental lots of various sizes that can be rented by our members for family and friends. Each member is responsible for their guests and ensure they follow park rules while at Pelican bay. Sites are rented at $40/night and can accommodate tents or trailers. Firewood is not provided.

Playground & Gazebo

We have a great playground for kids of all ages, with a shaded gazebo with a community BBQ. Our beach area also has a beach volleyball court, horse shoe pits, and tetherball for added enjoyment. There is also a community beach firepit for all to use and a great place to watch the sunset over the lake.

Boat Storage

We have two boat storage areas for additional space that are rented yearly. Spaces are limited, and are on a first come first serve basis. Please email pelicanbayresort@gmail.com to be put on the list and advised when they come available. Boat tents are provided by each members and not included in the rental cost.

Park Events

Throughout the year our social club sponsors many great events. Such events include a Canada Day Parade, long weekend horseshoe and volleyball tournaments, and fireworks on the beach July and/or August long weekend. Our social club raises money through 50/50 draws, collection of bottles and cans, and donations. Please contact Tammy at 28S if you are interested in volunteering!

Off Road Trails

Lac Sante area offers year round trail accessibility to over 35kms of a public multi-use trail system along the North Saskatchewan River. It is groomed and maintained by volunteers of the Lakeland Breakers Outdoor Society. Many check point cabin are available for public use. Trail passes can be purchased for $20/year by contacting www.lakelandbreakers.com.

Community Spirit

Our community is made special through the commitment of its members. As a cooperative we work together and take pride in our park. We encourage all members to volunteer when possible to any of our yearly projects or committees.
